I forgot to share this!
Well, I remembered to throw a quick and fuzzy phone photo up on fb, but never remembered to take a better shot and give ya the details here.
Of course I made a couple of changes. Really? You didn’t remember that I rarely follow a pattern exactly? Right. So, I made mine a little wider (larger base circle), a little shorter, and I added evenly spaced holes for the drawstring. Then I added the vintage pin.
It made me think that I need to come up with a cute crochet daisy to make a similar pin. What do you think?

Too cute for a bag! Your colours are fab, and the daisy gives it a GROOVY look!!!
Loves me some groovy-ness 😉
I love your felted bag and that metal pin is adorable. Oh how I love to collect (hoard) those metal brooches. 🙂 Love and Hugs, Tamara
Love the bag, Lisa! you inspire me:) Thank you!
Can’t wait till we see you this weekend!!! Smooches 🙂
What a lovely colour scheme! Have a doubt, why is it called as felt? I mean, as much as I know, felting is a different process right? Please help me to know more…
Thanks & Regards,

I used 100% wool yarn with single crochet, and I washed the bag repeatedly in hot water and dried it in the dryer to shrink and felt the yarn to add structure to the bag. Thanks so much for the appreciating the colors, some days I look at my color choices after I am done and wonder, ‘what was I thinking’. Thankfully, the picture doesn’t show the poor choice I made for the very bottom of the bag 🙂
Thanks for visitiing!
That is a beautiful bag! 🙂
Thanks 🙂 It was a fun project too.
I can imagine that! Happy weekend!
