It’s been a busy time lately and I am taking a deep breath to remind myself to enjoy all the little things in life.
With the holidays around the corner, it can only get more hectic.
Or not.
These are some of those little things in life I like to enjoy to make it all slow down.
~taking an extra moment in the morning to dress for success~
~taking the time to throw together dinner in a crock pot before I leave for work so the house smells delicious when we return~
~taking a moment to appreciate the color of the sky so I can add a row to my sky scarf every evening~
~giving myself a pat on the back, knowing that a four-legged friend is enjoying her gift~
~enjoying the dare-devil feats of my super stunt cats~
~making a few things for my two-legged friends as well~
(it takes 18 to make one of these, link to more info here)
~remembering to make something for the tall AND the small~
~and when in doubt…go for the carbs~
~bread and chocolate…my French friends would be so proud~
Now that the commercialized world is off to the races for the remainder of 2012, I think I’ll take another deep breath and try to relax. I will not be allowing all that into my awesome-bubble.
I’m going to keep enjoying the little things in life and not let the outside world dictate my holiday season.
Have a ridiculously amazing day!
