Because y’all were so sweet the other day about my daisy mug cozy, I thought I would share.
Enjoy 🙂
daisy square::
ch 6, sl st tog for ring
rnd 1 – ch 1, 12 sc in ring, join with sl st
rnd 2 – ch 3, dc in same st, ch 1, then 2 dc, ch 1 in each st around, join with sl st (24 stitches)
rnd 3 – ch 3 and make a regular granny round with 2 dc, ch1 in each space with 2 dc, 2 ch, 2 dc for corners, join with sl st
rnd 4 – ch 1, sc in each stitch around with 3 sc in each corner, join with sl st
Edited to add these photos::
I added a few rows of dc to each side of the motif, a row of sc around the whole thing (adding a buttonhole to one end), and sewed on a button. I didn’t include precise directions because mug sizes vary so much, and mine are very small.
Hope this answers some questions 🙂
Thanks for generously sharing … these are so cute! Even though I’m more of a knitter than a crocheter, I think I will have to make one of these!
