I decided to take a day off from work and my mama hooked me up with tickets and train rides, so I grabbed some children and took them to the Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo for the day. I am an overgrown child at times. Yeah, my son is a little to old and a little too cool to want to go to the zoo, but I bribed him (and his friends) with the idea that on a 100 degree day there were bound to be hundreds of teenaged girls in tank tops and shorts to oogle. It worked…I got my zoo trip and the boys got to check out the chicks. I even bought them ice cream. Yeah, I’m an awesome mom like that.
