crochet:: baby barefoot sandals

Let’s start this party off with a DISCLAIMER:: this was not my idea

Although I totally wish is was, these adorable baby sandals are not of my own mind.

I found them through Pinterest.  No wait. I didn’t find them, my friend Regan found them and emailed me a link.  Then I found more links; I followed them, and I wanted to make them.  And then I created these for her beautiful daughter.  Say what you will, I am not politically correct.  I never freakin’ claimed to be either.

I saw pictures and I got inspired, but I did not count stitches.  This is my interpretation.

Stellar.

I want some in my size now.

  3. What size child would these fit? I made a pair and they are adorable!! I’m just wondering if they would fit my 16 month old niece??

    1. I think they could fit a 16 month old quite easily. If you want to make them larger, I would simply use a larger hook. You could also adjust the stitch count on the toe ring and the strap chains; and maybe add a row or 2 to the main body of the piece. Thanks for visiting 🙂
