crochet:: dreamy layers afghan border

WOO HOO!!  It’s border time!

In the end, I chose white yarn and hdc in back loops only…I am on row 8 of 10.  YAY!

If all goes as planned, I should be able to finish during my 4-day weekend.  I’ll post better pix then.

In other news::  I had my annual cancer screening done today.  By 10 am I wanted to throw up.  By noon I was reduced to a puddle of tears out of fear.  My appointment was at 2:45pm.

**note to self:: ALWAYS make future appointments for 8 am.**

After several delays, (and a lovely shoulder massage in the waiting room) I finally got to see my Doc at 4 pm.

The best two words to ever say to a cancer survivor after seeing her test results…

“they’re perfect”

Thank you very much.  I needed to hear that.

I have now been cancer-free since January 24, 2008.  Kick ass.

**also note to self::  Schedule all appointments when they have a massage therapist on site for the day. What the hell, don’t wait for a Dr. appointment to get a massage.  Life is too short.**

Have a fabulous day hookers!

    1. Thanks Diane, it was a rough day and working on that afghan was a nice way to “cool down”. I finished late last night and am ready to take some shots of it today so I can post tomorrow. Have a great holiday weekend 🙂
