Hi. Happy Sunday 🙂
Yesterday I was sitting in our recliner with my laptop balanced on my knees when my teen-aged son walked into the room. Now, he normally could care less what I am doing on the computer, but yesterday he started looking over my shoulder at the screen, and chatted a little about his plans for the day. I was scrolling through page after page of thumbnails on iCrochet, and he stood there silently for several minutes as I clicked a few links.
Finally he spoke, and asked “Is this what you are always doing online?” “Pretty much” I say. Then, with utter amazement in his voice, “Mom, you need help…you’re addicted to yarn porn.“
I laughed so hard I cried.
After we regained our composure, and giggled just a little more, I asked him what kind of yarn porn I should look at to make him something fun and he suggested a mario mushroom from the video game. Lo and behold, I found one quite easily and got to work.
After it posed for a photo shoot in my office, it was whisked away.
And, not that it is useful in any way, shape, or form; but it’s darn cute on his nightstand.
He was kind of jealous that I never made HIM the amigurumi food like I am lavishing on his cousins for Easter this year. So, I am guessing there will be an afghan in his future.
Thanks for stopping by ~ have a lovely day 🙂
That is so hilarious. I love it!
